Casting Terms

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing the platform, joining the talent network, expressing interest in an opportunity, or submitting information, you agree to these Casting Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements. If you use the platform for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. You are responsible for complying with laws and professional rules applicable to you, your content, and your location.

2. What Casting Growth does

Casting Growth Studio operates a discovery, casting, matching, and introduction service connecting talent with independently operated projects, brands, organizations, and opportunity owners. Services may include publishing opportunity information, collecting expressions of interest, maintaining a talent network, screening for relevance, facilitating communication, and supporting an introduction.

We may change, add, suspend, or discontinue platform features. Availability in a country, language, category, or professional field is not guaranteed.

3. Talent records and information you provide

You agree to provide truthful, current, and reasonably complete information. Audience statistics, professional experience, portfolio links, identity claims, rights ownership, and eligibility statements must not be misleading. You must update or correct material inaccuracies when they become known.

You remain responsible for information submitted through your email address or on your behalf. Do not impersonate another person, submit a profile without authority, purchase artificial engagement to misrepresent audience quality, or conceal material conflicts that could affect an opportunity.

Joining the talent network creates an expression of interest, not an employment relationship, agency appointment, exclusivity obligation, or guaranteed right to receive opportunities.

4. Listings, selection, and opportunity-specific terms

Each opportunity may have separate eligibility rules, deadlines, deliverables, judging criteria, compensation terms, licenses, location restrictions, disclosure duties, or project-owner conditions. Those specific terms supplement these platform terms and control for that opportunity where they directly conflict.

Opportunity descriptions may be supplied by independent owners. We aim to present material information accurately but cannot guarantee that every statement remains current, complete, or free of error. You should review the owner's final written terms and ask necessary questions before accepting work, transferring rights, incurring costs, or relying on a stated reward.

Selection is controlled by the relevant decision-maker. Registration does not guarantee review, contact, shortlisting, an engagement, compensation, publicity, investment, travel, products, tokens, or any other benefit. We may prioritize, decline, or stop routing submissions where they are incomplete, irrelevant, duplicative, abusive, or present legal or reputational risk.

5. Introductions and direct relationships

When you express interest in a listed opportunity, you authorize Casting Growth to route relevant information to the opportunity owner or its authorized reviewer. If the parties proceed, they are responsible for documenting scope, deadlines, approval processes, compensation, expenses, rights, confidentiality, disclosures, termination, taxes, and governing law in a separate agreement.

Casting Growth is not a party to a direct agreement unless expressly identified and signed as one. We are not responsible for monitoring performance, collecting amounts, enforcing deliverables, resolving ownership disputes, or ensuring either party's compliance with a direct agreement.

6. Rewards, compensation, expenses, and taxes

Amounts, prize pools, token values, estimates, and individual-deal references are informational unless incorporated into final written opportunity terms. Values can change, and eligibility, verification, vesting, delivery, currency conversion, tax withholding, platform fees, and jurisdictional restrictions may apply.

You are responsible for evaluating non-cash compensation, obtaining professional advice where appropriate, reporting income, paying taxes, and securing permits or registrations required for your activity. Do not incur expenses on the assumption they will be reimbursed unless reimbursement is agreed in writing.

7. Verification and third-party risk

We may review publicly available information, ownership claims, opportunity materials, or contact details to reduce obvious risk. Verification is limited, may rely on third-party information, and is not an endorsement, audit, background check, credit assessment, legal opinion, or guarantee of performance.

Use independent judgment before sharing confidential material, clicking external links, signing documents, purchasing anything, transferring assets, or providing financial details. Report suspicious requests through the legal request channel on our Privacy page.

8. Content, ownership, and licenses

You retain ownership of content and materials you already own. You grant Casting Growth a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, format, display internally, and share submitted materials only as reasonably needed to operate the talent network, evaluate fit, route an expression of interest, secure the service, or comply with law.

This platform license does not authorize an opportunity owner to publish, commercialize, train models on, or create derivative works from your submission beyond evaluation. Any production, promotional, exclusivity, or commercial-use rights must be agreed separately. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the material and that doing so does not violate confidentiality, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.

We retain rights in the platform, branding, software, design, compilation, and original platform content. No right to use Casting Growth marks or imply endorsement is granted without written permission.

9. Confidential and unpublished information

Do not submit trade secrets or highly sensitive unpublished information unless an appropriate confidentiality arrangement is in place. A listing or introduction does not itself create confidentiality obligations. If you receive materials clearly identified as confidential, use them only for evaluating the relevant opportunity and protect them with reasonable care, subject to any separate agreement.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

• submit unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, exploitative, or rights-infringing material;
• misrepresent identity, audience, credentials, ownership, availability, or commercial relationships;
• scrape personal information, harvest contacts, send unsolicited communications, or build an unrelated database from the platform;
• probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or introduce malicious code into the service;
• automate submissions, manipulate selection, create duplicate records to evade limits, or interfere with another person's opportunity;
• use platform information for fraud, financial solicitation, harassment, surveillance, or any purpose incompatible with the relevant opportunity.

We may investigate suspected misuse and preserve or disclose relevant records where reasonably necessary for security, enforcement, or legal compliance.

11. Communications

With appropriate permission, we may send relevant opportunity alerts and talent-network communications. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time. We may still send service, safety, legal, or request-specific messages where necessary. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address you provide.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the platform and request removal of your talent record, subject to limited retention described in the Privacy Policy. We may restrict or terminate access, decline submissions, remove content, or preserve records if we reasonably believe these terms were violated, a request is unlawful, security is threatened, or continued service creates material risk.

Provisions concerning ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, records, and dispute handling survive termination where their nature requires it.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy. We do not warrant that any opportunity, owner, participant, external site, reward, engagement, or result will meet expectations or remain available.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casting Growth is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; lost profit, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings; or conduct, statements, non-performance, payment failure, or rights infringement by an independent opportunity owner or participant.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from platform use will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid directly to Casting Growth for the affected platform service during the preceding 12 months or USD 100, except where a different minimum is required by law. This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

15. Responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Casting Growth against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful platform use, material breach of these terms, misrepresentation, or infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach, negligence, or willful misconduct.

16. General legal terms

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect legal, security, operational, or service changes. The version and effective date appear above. Material changes will be highlighted or communicated where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Governing law and disputes

Platform-only disputes are governed by the law applicable to Casting Growth's principal establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without removing mandatory rights available in your country of residence. A separate opportunity or engagement agreement may specify a different governing law and forum for that relationship. Before formal proceedings, the parties should make a reasonable attempt to resolve the issue through the request channel on the Privacy page.

Severability, waiver, and assignment

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a lawful reorganization or service transfer, subject to applicable rights.

Entire agreement and language

These terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable opportunity-specific terms form the agreement concerning platform use. Headings aid readability and do not change meaning. If a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls where legally permitted.
